We often experience the many challenges of surviving and thriving in a society that marginalizes people of color. We make mistakes, we fall, but we keep trying. There is a certain comfort in knowing that no matter what we go through in this world, we can always come home. Home is family, good food, laughs, cries, but most of all love. “My Way Home” delivers a jazzy soulful boom bap groove and drives home the concept of always being able to rely on our mothers and family, when all else fails and it seems that no one else cares.
